Personal Care Assistant

Location: Orford, Warrington
Pay: £23.45 per hour
Hours: 5 hours per week. The exact working days and hours would be discussed at interview stage, with the prospective employer.
About the Role
This position is open to women only, as permitted under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010. The client needs a female Personal Care Assistant because there are times when the client may be undressed. A female worker is required to maintain the client’s dignity, comfort, and privacy, in line with the client’s personal preferences
The role involves supporting a vulnerable lady, so the ideal candidate will be patient, compassionate, calm, friendly, and trustworthy. The client will teach on her condition, including severe OCD.
A driving licence and access to a reliable car are essential, as driving is a key part of the role.
The candidate must also like cats and be willing to drive them to vet appointments (a pet carrier is provided).
Main Duties
Supporting with shopping, for both food and clothes,
Assisting with the care of household pets, including transport to vet visits
Requirements
Driver/car owner (business insurance required if using own vehicle)
Enhanced DBS check (free of charge)
Probationary period applies
