Staying Connected Disability Forum

Formerly known as the Warrington Committee for Disabled People, Staying Connected is an online forum.

 

Meeting have a lively agenda for discussion and an active membership of over 40 individuals and organisations. Staying Connected provides a focus for consultation and information exchange for all matters about disability in Warrington.

 

The attendees of Staying Connected includes:

Warrington Carers Hub, United Utilities, Vision Support, Citizens Advice, Macmillan, Warrington and Halton Head and Neck Cancer Group, Epilepsy Action, DWP Warrington Job Centre, Stroke Association, Warrington Borough Council, North Cheshire and Mersey NHS Foundation Trust, Warrington Healthwatch and Merseycare NHS Foundation Trust.

Interesting Local Speakers

Guest speakers attend the meetings to share news about new initiatives and to consult on proposed changes and to provide updates on current services.

Meeting Times & Locations

All meetings are held online via Teams. If you do not have access to Teams, you can join us at the Centre for Independent Living. The CIL is fully accessible including blue badge parking, a community cafe and accessible toilet facilities including a Changing Places toilet.

The Staying Connected meetings take place at 1.30pm on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.
