Wizard II - John B is now on the water!
In May 2026, Wizard II – John B, our fully accessible wide-beam boat, was officially launched onto the water. This new vessel is larger, more advanced, and even more accessible than the original Wizard.
This was all made possible thanks to a wonderful lady who made a very generous legacy donation in memory of her late husband, specifically for an accessible boat.
Designed with accessibility at its core, the boat features a fully accessible toilet, a lift, a fully equipped galley kitchen, and a dedicated wheelchair-accessible area where individuals can personally take the helm and experience driving the boat.
Disability Partnership is proud to offer this improved and inclusive experience, helping ensure that more people can enjoy time on the water in comfort and independence.

The Launch

The Build
The Wizard II – John B is a fully wheelchair accessible boat designed to make boating enjoyable for everyone, regardless of mobility. Built with accessibility at its core, the boat features a wheelchair lift, an accessible toilet, and even gives wheelchair users the opportunity to take the helm and experience driving the boat themselves.
As part of Disability Partnership’s commitment to promoting independence and creating more inclusive activities for disabled people, the Wizard II – John B offers an accessible boating experience that removes barriers and opens up new opportunities for adventure on the water.
The boat was expertly built by Collingwood Boat Builders, and we were fortunate to follow every stage of its construction.
