Quality Improvement in Health and Social Care, Workforce Development and Community Engagement.
Before retiring in 2016, Sue was a senior manager and leader in Health and Social Care regulation, including seven years at the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and five years at the Mental Health Act Commission (MHAC) where she was Deputy Chief Executive. Sue was a Trustee on the Board of “Skills for Care”, a strategic body for workforce development and home of the National Skills Academy for Social Care, where she chaired their national Workforce Development Forum. Sue has lived in Warrington for over 40 years, she has two children and two grandchildren, enjoys keeping fit and is a keen open water swimmer (in the summer!). Sue is a member of the DAD Management Team, and she leads on administration of the Main Arena and Arts Zone. Sue also co-ordinates the build and take down of our Santra’s Grotto. WDP Subgroups: Governance, Safety and Risk and Marketing and Communications. Sue joined the WDP Board in 2020.
