Equality and Diversity, Learning and Development
Before retirement, Jan worked at Warrington Collegiate for 21 years where she specialised in managing and teaching the (CIPD – Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) programmes. She was also Equality and Diversity Co-ordinator across the college which involved attending – Disability Forum meetings, BME groups, Mental Health groups, North West Equality and Diversity networks, managing Diversity week for students and staff, Chairing E&D committee and advising staff, learners and Senior Management on E&D issues. Jan takes an active interest in staff development at WDP and supports fundraising events e.g. Quiz’s, Tombola’s, Walk in the Park and is involved each year with DAD. WDP Subgroups: Human Resources, Governance, Safety and Risk. Jan joined the WDP Board in 2010.
