Born in Salford 1957, Bill moved to West Gorton Manchester when he was 10. He started work at 16 as apprentice Motor Mechanic, after finishing his apprenticeship and worked at a Renault dealer for a couple of years before deciding to start his own business as a Mobile Mechanic and Accessories fitter. Bill started fitting adaptations in the 80’s and currently is MD of one of the leading UK companies in the field, based in Hollins Green Warrington. Bill has been happily married to Anne for 42 years with 3 children, 2 of which work in the business – son Scott is Technical Director and daughter Joanne is Marketing Manager. A very keen cyclist (when weather is good!) Bill cycles around 100 miles a week and loves watching and listening to live music. He is also a keen (in his own words “not very good”) Guitarist!
Being a Salford man, there was only one football team Bill could support and he attended his first football match at the Theatre of Dreams before the age of 10 and has been following Manchester United ever since. Bill joined the DTC Board in 2017.
