Service design and development, building and facilities design, and he is passionate about disability equality and mentoring young disabled people.
Dave has a joint role as Chief Executive of WDP, and our trading arm The Disability Trading Company. He leads the Senior Management Team and provides the link to both Boards of Trustees/Directors. He was one of the three founders of WDP and was chair for over 20 years. He was a senior manager in the NHS before taking early retirement in March 2015, finishing his career as the Assistant Director of Inclusion and Partnerships at the 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Dave is the founder and Event Co-ordinator of Disability Awareness Day, he is a regular speaker at conferences across the UK, and a visiting lecturer at various Universities. He has presented disability equality training to over 70,000 people. Dave is married to Pam (our Honorary President); they have two children Gavin (our Commercial Director at DTC) and Emma who is a teacher working with students who have additional needs. Dave is a keen Warrington Wolves fan and loves scuba diving.
